We had the most wonderful day filled with art and science!!! Thanks go out to our fantastic parent helpers today who made it possible: Mrs. Hutchinson, Mrs. Lee, Mrs. Lorette and Mr. Benoit. They spent the entire morning helping students create some pretty fantastic pieces of art. In class we were able to disect the salmon that I got from the Soos Creek Fish Hatchery this morning. We identified the liver, heart and we got to see just how many eggs a female salmon can actually have. We got to have a very up close look thanks to the cool digital microscope we plugged into our computer so we could project the images onto our ActivBoard.
